Orzo Pasta and Italian Sausage


Tiny pasta and big Italian flavor all within minutes!

Servings: 4

Cooking Time: > 1 hour



- 6 large Fresh or Pre-cooked Silva Italian Sausages
- Olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- Fresh Basil
- Orzo pasta
- Sautéed spinach
- 1 can (12 oz) Ground Peeled Tomatoes
- Roasted Pine nuts



1. Slice sausage in half and brown in olive oil, cooking meat half way through.

2. Add smashed garlic and continue to cook until golden brown.

3. Add ground peeled tomatoes to cover meat.

4. Place in a 375-degree oven for 35 minutes, slicing sausage to check if cooked through.

5. Serve with sautéed spinach in Orzo pasta with fresh Basil and roasted pine nuts.
